The Port and Lemon brand was started, in 2012, by Tracy Evans and Kate Cooke who both started their creative careers in textile design, Kate as a print designer and Tracy as a woven textiles designer and have many years experience between them in the design industry.
They met at an art show and discovered their mutual appreciation for each others work as well as the beach, dog walking, coastal pubs and cake!
The strong blue and white imagery has become popular around the UK shores as well as making it inland and abroad. Their range of contemporary coordinated home products and gifts can be found on the shelves of independent shops and galleries throughout Britain. The brand appeals to sailors, seaside lovers and those who aspire to coastal living.
The range has grown and diversified recently incorporating more colour and land based themes, but always maintaining the humour and quirky winks to the past produced in a fresh and contemporary style.
Whether you are looking for art prints to decorate the walls of your home, coordinated tablewares for dining, greetings cards for those special people in your lives, stocking fillers for Christmas, bathroom accessories and travel gifts, there is something for everyone in the range.
Tracy and Kate also work to commission and have collaborated with charities and organisations designing bespoke products and artwork for clients including the RNLI, The Mary Rose Museum and Toe in the Water charity. They also work closely with their stockists and have produced customised designs for some of their shops, creating truly unique gifts and cards.
